Snapchat Spectacles
If you’re an avid Snapchat user, then you have no doubt heard of the new Snapchat Spectacles that recently hit the market. The limited edition glasses allow you to actually film what you see and look just like regular sunglasses. No need to be connected to a phone to work, only when you want to view and post snaps.
The downside? Unfortunately, the fun filters that we all love won’t work with the Spectacles. And you can only do videos…sorry, no Snapchat selfies.
The two circles on the glasses are a video camera on one side and an LED light on the other. When you’re snapping, the front light spins to let others know that you are recording.

A smaller light faces inwards so you know you’re recording. Just tap the side to record a ten second video and three taps to record a maximum of 30 seconds. The video is stored on the device and can be wirelessly offloaded to a phone over Wifi or Bluetooth so users can edit and share via Snapchat later. Spectacles’ battery should last a day, and you can get up to four full recharges from the portable charging case (shown above).
Available in black, teal, and coral colors.
Cost $130.
